Who does not want a holiday? We all work hard and of course we want to reward ourselves by taking a break, going away somewhere.
Do you know that not everyone take leave for their own pleasure? How many people out there actually need to sacrifice their leave for the family? Whether it is for taking care of a sick child or helping out with aged parents.
I have never gotten an offer from my own siblings to relieve our mother and myself from taking care of our dad and doing all the household chores. I only got offer to accompany someone to her holiday which I cannot go obviously.
It’s been a very tough time for me, now that we have to be without a maid. My bf gets to travel for work and I cannot go along even if I am able to pay for my own share. I am not asking him to pay but can he just try to find out more from the organizers.
I want to go away too you know? I am like the only child, don’t you think so? Since I am doing this alone most of the time. But I do not have all the privilege and love showered on the only child since young since I have 2 other siblings who are also grown adults and earning much more than me.
