New skills, new service

Been quite busy recently. There is tonnes of work in the office and I am sort of helping my bf with his photography thingy.

When there is something that needs to be done, I am all for doing it right. So I picked up new skills on doing photobook layout.

As a designer for more than 8 years, doing layouts is quite basic. There are so many ways to do it. The difference here is the work flow. How to improve the work flow is important because there is quite a lot of time spent on producing a good photobook.

Then the clients need to select some photos to be printed. If draft is required, what are the ways of presenting it? After that only it will go into production.

I plan to work with Prinzbook because they accept customized designs. There are providers who will only stick to their own software which kind of turning away professional photographers and those looking for more substance from using their services.

So this is where Photobook Layout Artists step in. I hope to offer service to anyone who needs it, including photographers. If you have your own printer, I am able to do the layout according to your specifications.

I’m tired too

Sometimes we do things to help someone but is that someone actually doing his/her part?

That’s another thing.

I’m somebody who constantly want to move fast because time does not wait for anybody. When I know something can be done, it has to be done in the shortest time possible.

Why do some people don’t see it? Why do they think what they’re doing is right when they had been unsuccessful after a period of time? Isn’t this the time to think and to do something about it?

There is no time for idle when time is pressing on us. This is life. No pain, no gain.
