Finally it’s up!
Glad the site came back up.
I’ve actually forgotten what I want to blog about.
A recap on the recent public holidays:
1. I did not take any extra day off.
2. Did some shopping and spend quite a bit.
3. Haven’t been to library or gym. Too many shoppers/holidaymakers made me feel depressed at work.
4. Been sleeping yet failed to wake up on work days. Whenever I don’t have to work, I wake up at 7am.
The conclusion is I hate to be seated here, staring at computer all day long. I can finish my work fast and well, I should be given some form of freedom in my job because half the time I’m surfing the internet at work.
If I can go to the gym, the company will have a healthier employee, although I hardly take any sick leave.
If I can go to the library, the company will have an employee who is well read and constantly learning new skills, since we cut training budget, can’t claim books or internet/data packages.
If I can go home, I will be well rested and won’t suffer from “panda eyes” and shoulder pain.
Overall, I will be happy and it is important to bring good vibes into the work environment. Ever heard of “The Secret – the law of attraction”?
I love my job, I generally loves working. I think I will go nuts one day if I feel like I’m in jail everyday.
Month full of birthdays and projects
Do I love August?
It’s the time of the year I go broke. There are at least 5 birthdays in this month alone. I’m not counting friends’ birthdays because I don’t celebrate birthday with friends. These are family and extended family members, including my beloved.
I’m glad the month is over and I’m grateful to have completed a few freelance projects. It helps to supplement my spending on birthday celebrations.
Most freelancers will require upfront partial payment, but out of good will, I never collect money from clients, especially clients through referrals. I want to trust my clients that they will not cheat me.
I think “trust” is important to maintain a fair and good working relationship. The work gets done, the client is happy and I’m happy.
