LOA
Been reading another book on Law of Attraction from the Chicken Soup series.
We must give thanks and be grateful for everything that takes place.
Yesterday I wished that it didn’t rain in the evening so I could return some books and get Bak Kut Teh for dinner.
True enough it didn’t rain. There was a bit of jam on the road but it was not serious. I got to the library before it closes. After that I got Bak Kut Teh and shared dinner with my bf.
When I got home, it was later than usual. I had to water all the plants around the house and put the laundry to wash. I also realised I left a book in the living room. That means I have to go to the library again.
Minor stuff, no harm. I guess my LOA thing worked out… for most of it, I am grateful and happy.

I have been checking out short courses for quite some time.
There is this particular course on teaching which I wish to do in order for me to secure a better position as a trained educator.
I had been teaching part-time for the past 3 years. Not on and off teaching but regular teaching week after week in a classroom environment. Recognition in some kind of paper form will add-on to my credentials since I am not trained as a teacher.
This is also a backup plan for me because I might want to teach long term. However, I do not want to make the classes commercialised. It is going to be private. Students are by referral only.
Anyway, I cannot make it to this year’s course because there are only 4 weeks in November and December. This is the only time when I do not teach on weekends. The course is held in 4 consecutive Saturdays in the month which has 5 Saturdays.
I have checked next year’s calendar. I can make it in December 2011. Lets hope the course is still on. Wish me luck.

1901 had been selling hotdogs at a special price on every 19th of the month for many months now. I am not a big fan of processed meat but yesterday I gave the hotdog a try.
There are 2 flavours that go on sale on the 19th – Regular Chicago Beef & Regular New York Chicken, selling at RM3 each.
I ordered a beef hotdog because I saw mustard sauce on the banner…lol
There is no queue at all because the kitchen keeps churning out beef and chicken hotdogs.
It was yummy. Good for lunch as it wasn’t too filling. I guess it is OK to have a hotdog once a month. I will be back next month.
