It is time of the year again.
For the past couple of months, I’ve been looking at the possibility of having a new job and attended a few interviews.
There was an offer but in reality it is not a good deal even though the job pays higher.
I do have second thoughts all these while because I had been slaving for more than 6 months towards this year’s bonus. It will not be worth it to lose the compensation for all the hard work I’ve put in.
And so I wait…
Today is going to be my turn to do my appraisal with the boss. I wish he is the boss of the company and not some middle management who cannot do much to help his subordinates.
In today’s newspaper, there is a report that says “RM3,000 is poverty line for the urban poor”. In it they are referring to family with 3 children, car loan and mortgage loan.
Are these people sleeping or what? In KL, for a household with RM3000 cannot even afford to own a property.
RM3000 is poverty line for single urban people who owns a car (1 litre capacity), has life and medical insurance, a retirement fund and a studio apartment mortgaged to the bank.
