Been quite busy recently. There is tonnes of work in the office and I am sort of helping my bf with his photography thingy.
When there is something that needs to be done, I am all for doing it right. So I picked up new skills on doing photobook layout.
As a designer for more than 8 years, doing layouts is quite basic. There are so many ways to do it. The difference here is the work flow. How to improve the work flow is important because there is quite a lot of time spent on producing a good photobook.
Then the clients need to select some photos to be printed. If draft is required, what are the ways of presenting it? After that only it will go into production.
I plan to work with Prinzbook because they accept customized designs. There are providers who will only stick to their own software which kind of turning away professional photographers and those looking for more substance from using their services.
So this is where Photobook Layout Artists step in. I hope to offer service to anyone who needs it, including photographers. If you have your own printer, I am able to do the layout according to your specifications.
