Taking your own photos

I see more and more photos of individual or couples who were taken by themselves. It is something I don’t quite understand.

These photos normally don’t look good because the person is holding the camera with their hand or they put the camera on timer mode and placed it somewhere to have their own photos taken.

Honestly, the best photos are the ones taken by someone. The person does it with heart. He/she wants to take good pictures of someone. The feeling is different. It is a moment to be shared with the people you are with.

When there is nobody around to take photo, why bother to take any. Obviously the person is alone and not doing anything special. So what is the feeling/occassion/setting which makes the person wants to take a photo of himself/herself?

It is more like lonely people craving for attention. This is kind of pathetic don’t you think so? In olden China, the camera is referred to as a machine that sucks out the souls of the people whom photos are being taken. I think it is true still in some other interpretations today.

Good photos are suppose to feel alive! They capture the special moments that we want to remember.

I think we have seen enough bad photos flooding the internet. What is it with people nowadays? Showing the world how one looks like sitting on the toilet? How good one looks like wearing fake lashes? Making cute faces to nobody who will give you a warm response?

We need human contact. The type which we see, touch and communicate with each other in the real world.

What’s on this week?

Another weekend gone and I’m back in the office. Work was officially over at 5pm yesterday. This is my life. I work 7 days a week.

This is going to be another busy week. One website to be completed in the office. Unfortunately, it is not going to be final because some dumb dumb boss wants to see the whole thing before deciding whether it is going to be the right “feel” for him.

Totally ridiculous. No wonder things are very backward here. So what if you drive a nice car, have the latest gadget and a bunch of people working for you. The work culture is backward.

Anyway, I don’t really care because I am going to put my focus on my own thing. This is only temporary.

Next, I will be building another site on wordpress platform. Something which I enjoy doing and hopefully I will be doing more of this. The goal here is to become an Eaglepreneur.

Meanwhile, I want to think deeper into SWISS (Sales While I Sleep Soundly). I had successfully sold 2 items on my etsy site as experiment. Producing something that will sell over and over again is the best model.

This will be my ultimate goal, although I do not have a clue what to produce and sell at this moment.
