What did you do in the dark?

What did you do during earth hour besides switching off your lights?
I did not switch off my lights at home. We don’t turn on any unnecessary lights on normal days. Already our electricity bill is high, we know better to not waste energy. If you’re wondering why I sound unsupportive, this is because my home houses a hospital room.
When you have sick people at home, do you think you are in the mood to celebrate whatever day that has nothing to do with your home and family? Do you think you can switch off the air-conditioning and make sick people feel better? The answer is no.
Maybe I will be able to celebrate more and do more for myself when I am no longer tied to this home. Meanwhile, I am happy as long as I get to steal some hours to be away from home.
Last Saturday, the bf took me out for dinner after his short assignment at some camera events in town. As usual, he did not make any plan to take me anywhere. We always end up rushing to any tom, dick and harry eateries nearby because he is so hungry and drives like a maniac. I am very unhappy about this. I can only keep my silence and remind him to keep his eyes on the road.
Anyway, we ended up in a Hong Kong style kopitiam in SS2. Initially he suggested the one located in a building but I protested. We have been there before and the food sucks. I told him we will go to this royalty place but he said I told him I don’t want to go there before.
Oh yeah? Since when he can remember what I’ve said before or what he had told me before?
Thank goodness dinner was pallatable. We were there until way past 8.30pm and the place was brightly lit. Gone was my candle lit dinner.
After dinner I suggested we take a drive to around my work place to check if they switched off the lights. We drove a bit in KL city before going home.
