Today is World’s Women Day. There has been a lot of messages about women’s right and gender equality blasting out from local radio stations.

Other than that, I think women should help women too by being less selfish, less stuck up and by keeping their jealousy at bay. Hah! I’m afraid it is quite difficult for most women to see eye to eye with another in today’s society. There is bitching everywhere.

Anyways, I’ve promised to donate more to charities this year. This is a promise I made with myself and I didn’t share with anyone.

My first donation of the year goes to a local breast cancer support group. They were having charity drive in various shopping malls in the city. I stopped by the booth during lunch break last Friday, bought a button clip and donated RM2 change I got from the RM10 note.

This is something very close to my heart because my grandma had breast cancer.

I saw the same group again in KLCC last night. Not sure if they will continue the drive this week. If you happen to come across the booth, please donate. Other than buttons, they are selling fresh orchids and handphone charms as well.

I have abandoned by blog for quite a while

So much has been going on, from Christmas to New year, then Chinese New Year. Speaking of which, I have not downloaded photos taken during CNY from the camera yet.

We have a big gathering in KL this year where many of our relatives came by. I was swamped by family duties, from booking the hotel rooms, dinner and catering for another dinner at home.

Shortly after, it was back to work and followed by my dad’s surgery. Some unhappy news from my sis is also bothering me.

Dad is still at the hospital. Mom had been there since Monday. I had been running in and out delivering food and clothes for them.

I’m tired… but I cannot complaint because my mother is over 60 years old and she has to stay at the hospital all day.

Sigh.

Just as I was looking at getting the iPod Touch 64GB, Apple came out with the new IPad.

It is awesome because I find the iPod Touch too small for browsing comfortably.

I so want the new iPad now.

I read in the newspaper that it will be selling at around RM1800. It might be the lowest range though.  Shucks!!

Got to make some extra money.
